Qubify Inc. ("Qubify," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Qubify AI commerce assistant platform accessible at https://qubify.ai and via our Shopify application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our Service, join our waitlist, or interact with our website.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Waitlist Registration: Name, email address, and Shopify store URL when you join our waitlist.
- Account Information: Business name, contact details, billing information, and account credentials when you create an account.
- Knowledge Base Content: Product descriptions, FAQs, policies, and other content you upload to train your AI assistant.
- Communications: Messages, feedback, and support requests you send to us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, click patterns, and interaction logs.
- Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and referring URLs.
- Cookies & Tracking Technologies: Session cookies, analytics cookies, and similar technologies (see Section 7).
2.3 Shopify Store Data
When you connect your Shopify store to Qubify, we access data through the Shopify API as authorized by you. This may include:
- Product catalog, inventory, and pricing information
- Order details, tracking information, and fulfillment status
- Customer profiles (name, email, order history) as needed to respond to customer inquiries
- Store settings, shipping zones, and return policies
We only request Shopify API scopes necessary to provide the Service. We do not access payment card data or Shopify Payments credentials.
2.4 Customer Conversation Data
When your store visitors interact with the Qubify AI assistant widget, we process conversation data including messages, questions, and responses. This data is used to provide the Service, improve AI accuracy, and generate analytics for your dashboard. End-customer conversations are processed on your behalf as a data processor.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Qubify Service
- Train and personalise your AI assistant based on your store's knowledge base
- Process and respond to customer inquiries on your behalf
- Send you waitlist updates, product announcements, and service notifications
- Analyse usage patterns to improve our platform and develop new features
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
- Communicate with you about your account, billing, and support requests
We do not sell your personal data or your customers' data to third parties for advertising purposes.

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfil the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Specifically:
- Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for up to 90 days after account deletion.
- Conversation logs are retained for up to 12 months to enable analytics and AI improvement, after which they are anonymised or deleted.
- Waitlist data is retained until you request removal or we launch the Service.
- Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

- Essential Cookies: Required for the Service to function (authentication, session management). Cannot be disabled.
